2026.11.05

The “TOKYO ART DOTS” walking art event will be held from Thursday, November 5, through Sunday, November 8, in the Yaesu, Nihonbashi, Kyobashi, and Ginza areas of Tokyo.
Organized by Tokyo Tatemono and Heralbonie—a creative company aiming to create new culture by transforming perceptions of disability and promoting welfare—this event invites visitors to explore four venues throughout the city and discover art and stories created by artists affiliated with Heralbonie.

The theme is “Uniqueness Brings the City to Life.”This event brings together the 130-year history of Tokyo Tatemono, founded in 1896, and Heralbony’s initiative to “cherish each person’s individuality”—an effort to share the unique talents of artists with disabilities with society through art. Over the course of four days, visitors will explore artworks scattered throughout the city and reflect on what true richness means to them.

At “Himono-cho Square” on the first floor of TOFROM YAESU Tower—the main venue—art booths will showcase themes of daily life across different eras, from the Meiji era to the Reiwa era. The event will also feature physical expression performances by deaf actors, as well as interactive activities where participants wear blindfolds to select their favorite flowers based on scent and texture, and then create their own unique floral meanings. In addition, visitors can enjoy “MY ART DOT,” a participatory activity where they create a card that reflects their true selves by selecting artworks and answering questions, as well as guided tours tracing Tokyo’s 130-year history.

A Christmas tree embodying the world of Aose Tokinaga’s artwork “20210425” has been installed in the plaza on the B1 level of Tokyo Square Garden. A lighting ceremony and Christmas concert are scheduled for Thursday, November 5.

At the Nihonbashi intersection venue, a massive building-wall art installation, adorned with a variety of artworks by various artists, has made its debut. As you walk through the city, you can enjoy these dynamic works displayed on the walls of buildings.

The “TOKYO ART DOTS Original Artwork Exhibition” is being held on the second floor of “HERALBONY LABORATORY GINZA,” a venue in the Ginza area. The exhibition showcases original artwork by Shu Toriyama, Kanotaru Iga, Takuma Hayakawa, and others, along with the stories behind each piece. This exhibition offers a deeper appreciation of the art encountered throughout the city through these original illustrations.

Don’t miss the mystery-solving event “The New Postal Worker and the Unaddressed Letter,” which takes you to four different venues.Participants take on the role of a new postal worker and search for clues hidden in the city’s art while trying to find the recipient of an unaddressed letter. Those who solve all the mysteries will receive an original handkerchief—available on a first-come, first-served basis each day. This event lets you enjoy art appreciation and a stroll through the city all at once.

In addition to viewing artworks, the event offers a wealth of experiences—from physical expression and sensory activities to puzzle-solving. As you visit the four venues within walking distance, you’ll likely discover new facets of the familiar neighborhoods of Yaesu, Nihonbashi, Kyobashi, and Ginza. Why not set out on an art walk that connects Tokyo’s history with its present, while searching for works that pique your interest?
