Why not spend a special evening in front of Tokyo Station as summer draws to a close?
Tokyo Midtown Yaesu will host the “Yaesu Night Market,” a classic late-summer event, for 10 days from Friday, August 28, 2026, through Sunday, September 6.It’s a summer festival unique to Tokyo where you can enjoy the traditional festival atmosphere of food stalls and carnival games, along with music, gourmet food, and culture.
Now in its fourth year, the event will return even bigger and better, with an even wider variety of carnival games and night stalls.

One of the major highlights is “Yaesu Oto-utage,” a free live music event where you can enjoy live music and DJ performances while sipping drinks and munching on food. A total of 29 artists will liven up the night in Yaesu with their music.

The first wave of confirmed performers includes Shinichi Osawa, Yasuharu Konishi, ZEN-LA-ROCK, Moka Sato, and Amaiwana.

You’re sure to enjoy a pleasant evening surrounded by the sophisticated sounds performed by artists spanning various genres, including city pop, disco, house, and hip-hop.

A Look Back at Last Year

Don’t miss the diverse selection of food and drinks. Food trucks from all over the country gather here, offering a wide variety of menu items—from “Sake to Spice Matsuko,” a renowned spice curry restaurant in Yaesu, to chilled ice ramen, tacos, and seafood rice bowls.

With a variety of vendors—primarily popular spots from the Yaesu area—taking turns setting up shop each day, even the time spent deciding what to eat is sure to be part of the fun of exploring the food stalls.

The drink menu features carbonated mixed drinks and cocktails made with the botanical-flavored barley shochu “CHILL GREEN” and the authentic sweet potato shochu “DAIYAME,” as well as craft beers and sake. You can enjoy the night market to the fullest while listening to music and sipping your favorite drink.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, night markets will also be set up in the first-floor atrium of the venue. With games and workshops that evoke the atmosphere of a traditional festival, as well as unique goods sold by local creators, there will be plenty of fun-filled activities that blend nostalgia with innovation.

This year, hands-on activities that anyone can easily join—such as “xiaolongbao tossing,” “ring toss,” and a “photo booth”—will be featured on a weekly rotation. Whether discovering unique works by local creators or trying your hand at traditional games, both adults and children are sure to have an exciting time.
