The happiness of sharing various dishes with everyone. Girls’ party at “Taikoro TOKYO main store”

2024.02.06

The charm of the Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi area is that you can find delicious food from both Japan and abroad, and you can choose a restaurant according to your purpose and mood. GOKINJYO , a community of women workers in this area, introduces their favorite dishes in this relay series.

I’ve been wanting to come to Taikoro for a while. This day was a meeting of GOKINJYO, a community of women workers.

Sakura Street leading to the store is gorgeous with illuminations. That alone makes me feel good (apparently it will last until February 14th, 2024).

They’re famous for their jumbo gyoza, but just how jumbo they are…。

Hahaha! This is the signboard.

And here’s the real thing. Four fried gyoza. They’re big.

Inside of the store was almost full of office workers. However, it didn’t feel stuffy because the tables, chairs, and aisles were all spacious. Moreover, the casual attention and quick response of the staff was also GOOD. They don’t make me wait for food or drinks. It’s nice to have a stress-free time after work.

Now, what was this clear liquor? It tasted like blue cheese.

In addition to the fried gyoza, other dishes were brought out one after another.

Everyone’s favorite cashew nut and stir-fried chicken, the chicken is surprisingly tender.

And this stir-fried vegetables. The beauty of bok choy.

The bone-in parts of Chinese style deep fried chicken are also very exciting.

There’s no way I could ever get this flavor at home… it’s so delicious!

Also, this omelet has a happy visual that looks like something from a picture book.It is filled with plump oysters.

It seems to be a seasonal menu, so maybe it is already over… If it is, I apologize…

And to finish off, I had tantanmen. It’s good!

Did you notice that the water level of the soup in this tantanmen has dropped slightly? Ms. T (it’s you) forgot to take a photo and started eating immediately…I understand your feelings, so I’ll forgive you.

The desert of almond tofu was also delicious.

There are also two points of caution for the use of this restaurant.

First, there are only two toilets, so if you sense it’s getting crowded, head over early. Secondly, Mara peanuts are great, but don’t let your guard down because sometimes there are seriously hot peppers.

Looking back, it was really a nice party.

I usually don’t mind eating alone at all, but for the first time in a long time, I could remember the euphoria of ordering and sharing a variety of dishes with others.

Thank you for the meal.
