The charm of the Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi area is that you can find delicious food from both Japan and abroad, and you can choose a restaurant according to your purpose and mood. GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this area, introduces their favorite dishes in this relay series.

Today, I visited Asian Bistro Dai on the 7th floor of the new building of Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. I have been there for lunch before, but this is my first time for dinner. I didn’t know there was such a nice terrace seat! Gentle breeze are exceptional. Enter the world of Asian resorts all at once.

It was a course meal, so I was looking forward to seeing what would come. First, we had toast (I forgot to take a photo…), followed by Caesar salad, sea bream carpaccio, and seared beef tongue…oh, that’s unusual. The generous amount of green onion sauce is a delight. The next dish is the drool chicken, with moist meat and a spicy sauce that is addictive.

This is followed by fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls, shrimp toast, and stir-fried water spinach, the aromas of Southeast Asia. It goes well with beer!

While enjoying such delicious Asian cuisine, I heard about Nika-chan, GOKINJYO’s community manager, talking about her trip to Kuala Lumpur, which made me want to go on a trip. The people are warm, the security is good, and the food is delicious. I want to go to Kuala Lumpur!

And finally, the tom yum kung. It was spicy and rich with an addictive flavor.The shrimp were plump and plump. We were having so much fun talking that I forgot to take photos.

 

The food continues still.

Grilled Kinka pork with chorizo, and finished with gapao rice. The rich, sweet and spicy minced meat, fried egg, and rice are mixed together for a delicious, mild flavor.

The variety of course meals here is amazing. They are all pleasantly delicious, with sour, spicy, umami, refreshing, herbal and seafood flavors, so never get bored. It feels like being lost in the congestion of Asia.

Work hard, eat delicious food, laugh, and do my best again.
