I ate juicy yakitori at the long-established yakitori restaurant “Eiichi” in Kyobashi.

The charm of the Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi area is that you can find delicious food from both Japan and abroad, and you can choose a restaurant according to your purpose and mood. GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this area, introduces their favorite dishes in this relay series.

The street in Kyobashi lined with stylish yakitori restaurants, commonly known as “Yakitori Road.” At the entrance to the street is!! “Eiichi”. It is a long-established restaurant founded in 1948.

The restaurant is full of workers on their way home from work. It seems to be a place of rest for people who work near YNK.

April will be my second year as a comedian, and I’m going to have a drink with YNK workers and the women’s worker community “GOKINJYO”! What a wonderful day.

The first thing that came out of the 10-skewer course was chicken breast strips!

The half-cooked chicken breast strips and wasabi go really well together… It’s like a declaration from the restaurant saying, “Today’s course is about to begin, it’s the best so please look forward to it!”

“This will lead to drinking too much alcohol, so please be careful everyone!” I also warned everyone. I drink a lot of highballs…

My favorites were the chicken thighs and hearts. Hearts are so plump that I’ve never eaten them!

The sauce goes well with it, and I would drink a cup of this alone.

And! Yakitori isn’t the only skewer available. What really impressed me was the quail skewers!

I’ve eaten grilled quail many times in the past, but this was by far the most delicious. The texture of the yolk was amazing!

I really agree with the GOKINJYO member’s comment, “I don’t really like quail, but this one is very impressive.” I usually like quail too.

I was really happy when 10 delicious skewers were served. This is the first time I have been so full of yakitori!!

The final fruit of the course was melon. It was April, and it was the first melon of the year for GOKINJYO members. And this melon was incredibly delicious. Someone said, “This might be the best melon I’ve ever eaten.”

Before we knew it, the workers around us had gone home, and we, GOKINJYO, were the only ones left in the restaurant. We had so much fun drinking and eating. I want to go again!!
