The charm of the Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi area is that you can find delicious food from both Japan and abroad, and you can choose a restaurant according to your purpose and mood. GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this area, introduces their favorite dishes in this relay series.
It is the first Monday after summer vacation and the first day of work.
I am not motivated to do so, but I am an office worker.
In such a case, let’s have a little bit of an extravagant lunch.
On this day, I went to “Yamagataya Nori Store” not far from Kyobashi Station, which I had been curious about for a long time.
It is divided into a store and a dining & cafe area. The counter seating area is open for lunch from 11:30 to 14:00, and for cafe time after 14:00.
My focus this time was on the “Enjoy Seaweed Omusubi Gozen” for 1,870 yen (*as of August 2025).
We visited the restaurant with a reservation just in case, as it is limited to 20 servings a day.
Upon taking your seat, you will immediately be served a cup of cold sencha green tea with matcha green tea.
It has a refreshing taste and soaks into your body…!
I really appreciate being able to get a refill, especially in the summer.
The rice-balls are served with a choice of two types of fish.
The lineup for the day consisted of the following two types
Saikyo-yaki grilled baby sardine
Grilled Red Fuji Salmon
About 10 minutes after we were seated, our trays were brought to us.
The onigiri rice balls are served freshly made each time…!
The thoughtfulness of this gracious gesture naturally makes one’s back stand up straight.

Nori soup, salad with nori dressing, and other nori dishes.
In addition, grilled seaweed is available separately. (*It is a little difficult to know when to eat it.)
The salmon was fatty and delicious, with just the right amount of salt.
The flounder was also thick, a delightful fish that you don’t usually see in Tokyo supermarkets.
Omusubi for the day were as follows.
(husked grains of) rice
Tsuyahime from Yamagata Prefecture
Seaweed (2 kinds)
Ariake Sea Yaki Nori (Grilled Laver)
Ao Maze Yaki Nori (Grilled Seaweed)
This seaweed called Aomazeyaki Nori (blue mixed grilled seaweed) is delicious. Too delicious..!
As the name suggests, it is a fusion of black and green laver…!
Since it is simply rice and seaweed, the deliciousness of the ingredients is enhanced.
This exquisite laver is sold in a very cute can only at the Kyobashi main store.

After the meal, hojicha tea is served.
It is also aromatic and delicious.
I personally don’t like hojicha that is too roasted, but this one is light and easy to drink…!

And you can also take out drinks.
This time, I selected the Sencha Lemonade (605 yen).
There are also matcha lattes and hojicha lattes, but under the hot sun, this would be the one.
The lemon is quite strong and goes strangely well with sencha.
The sweetness is also strong, making it perfect for a body tired of the heat!

The tea you receive and the seaweed used for your omusubi are the same ones you can buy to take home.
We have a variety of reasonably priced items for everyday use as well as for spending money.

I have not cooked rice for about a year now, and I would like to get back to cooking rice… I bought some green mixed grilled laver as a souvenir with the earnest wish to get back to cooking rice.
It was a lunch that was meant to motivate me to work, but I was suddenly burned in the direction of cooking for myself.
Still, it was really delicious.
Definitely, I will go back.
