Set in the Tokyo Station and Yaesu area, the “Yaesu Treasure Hunt”—an event where you can enjoy a stroll through the city while solving mysteries—is currently underway through Tuesday, October 13, 2026. This free, hands-on event invites you to solve puzzles and search for hidden treasure chests as you visit seven commercial facilities.
It’s perfect not only for friends and family but also for those who want to explore the familiar streets with a fresh perspective, even when traveling alone.

This event is organized and hosted by “Yaesu-ing,” an organization that works to further raise awareness of the Tokyo Station and Yaesu area under the keywords “Yaesu” and “Now (in progress).”Companies and organizations that operate commercial facilities in Yaesu are collaborating across organizational boundaries to plan and host a variety of events designed to revitalize the Yaesu area as a single, vibrant community.

This marks the fourth year that “Yaesuing” has organized these events. “TOFROM YAESU TOWER” is participating for the first time in this year’s event, bringing the total number of “Yaesuing” members to seven companies. The group plans to continue expanding its activities in the Yaesu area while increasing the number of participating organizations.

The star of this event is “Toto,” the official mascot of the lifestyle magazine *Oz Magazine*. One day, while visiting the café and snack bar “Oz,” Toto discovers a “Challenge Letter for Toto” inside the shop. This leads him to embark on a treasure hunt through the streets of Yaesu.

Participants will help Toto solve seven mysteries to find the treasure.

Since the mystery-solving adventure unfolds alongside Toto’s charming story, everyone from children to adults is sure to have a thrilling time participating.

To start the treasure hunt, begin by picking up a “Treasure Hunt Booklet” available at seven commercial facilities. You can find them inside Tokyo Station, at the Daimaru Tokyo store, Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, TOFROM YAESU TOWER, Gransta Yaesu, Tokyo Station Ichiban-gai, and Yaechika.

Once you have the booklet, it’s time to start solving the puzzles. There is one puzzle at each facility—seven in total—and solving them will reveal the locations of the treasure chests. Use the booklet as your guide to visit the seven facilities, solve the hidden puzzles, and find the treasure chests.

Another great feature is that if you get stuck on a puzzle, you can rely on the hints provided at each facility to help you move forward. Even beginners can take on the challenge with confidence.

As you explore the facilities and find treasure chests, you’ll discover keywords inside that serve as proof of completion. If you submit the keywords you’ve collected via the QR code printed in the booklet, you’ll have a chance to win prizes in a drawing for 70 lucky winners. You can enter the drawing with 4 or more keywords, and if you submit all 7, your chances of winning double—a great perk!

The prize lineup features a wide variety of items from each of the seven participating facilities, including “assortments of popular products,” “dessert sets,” and “5,000-yen meal vouchers.” In addition to the thrill of solving the mysteries, you’ll have the added excitement of wondering what prize you might win after you enter.

Walking around the city to solve the mysteries might also give you the chance to discover shops and spots you didn’t know existed. Why not head out on a fall outing and join Toto on a treasure hunt through the streets of Yaesu?
