2026.05.07
If you want to spend a slightly different night after work or on weekends.
A “snack alley” where you can easily “have a go” at night is now available in Tokyo.
YOKOCHO WONDERLAND in TOKYO,” the first ever urban snack festival to bring together snack bars from various areas around Tokyo, will be held at Tokyo Square Garden in Kyobashi. This is an event where you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of a snack bar, with drinks in one hand, and spontaneous conversation among the hostesses and people next to each other in the other hand. This event is perfect not only for those who like to drink and enjoy snacks, but also for those who want to enjoy small encounters and conversations with people of different generations and nationalities.
The event will be held once a month for three days over the months of April, May, and June 2026. The long-awaited second event, which follows the successful first, will be held on May 14 (Thursday), 15 (Friday), and 16 (Saturday).

The stars of the event are active snack mamas from 47 prefectures around the country who are active in Tokyo. Each booth you visit has a different mama and a different atmosphere, and the most appealing thing about this event is that you can enjoy such a unique experience in the middle of the city center, as if you were going from the first booth to the next.

With the snack experience ticket in hand, visitors can freely visit the various booths at the venue, enjoying different conversations and the thrill of “Hashigo-zake”.
The ticket includes the first drink and a set of snacks in addition to an original glass that you can take home; drinks and food after the second drink can be purchased directly at each booth.
You can visit as many snack bars as you like in 2 hours.
At each booth, you will be able to find local alcoholic beverages and local snacks selected by mothers. It is as if you are on a trip, experiencing the unique flavors of the area.

One of the main attractions of the festival is the “interactive Yokocho” space decorated with neon lights and “noren” (traditional Japanese curtains). A glamorous shining yokocho arch will appear at the entrance of the venue, and the sound of “Nagashi” (streamers) will resonate pleasantly as you enjoy Showa-era retro art and nostalgic food, recreating the old-fashioned yokocho culture of Tokyo at night.

A variety of contents will also be available, including a talk show by a famous mama, a retro experience corner, and a digital stamp rally in which participants can take part while touring the snack booths. In a space that makes you want to take pictures, you are sure to have a lively and comfortable time while interacting with people across generations and borders.
A special drink for after work or on weekends.
Why not come and enjoy a different “Yokocho experience”?
