The Yaesu/Nihonbashi/Kyobashi area, where Tokyo Tatemono has been headquartered for over 125 years since its establishment in 1896, is known as YNK, which stands for Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi. YNK, which stretches in front of the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station, is one of the most important transportation hubs in Japan, with a concentration of large corporations. On the other hand, compared to other areas such as Shibuya and Shinjuku, the number of visitors to Japan is only about half*, and awareness of the area as a tourist destination is still in its infancy.
This map allows users to quickly learn about YNK’s contents near their current location by linking with location-based services. In addition, by collaborating with “YNKs,” a culture media operated by Tokyo Tatemono, and by integrating information on various cultural experiences, exchanges, and historical and cultural assets in YNK in an areal manner, the map will promote visitors’ circulation within YNK and contribute to the promotion of YNK as a new tourist destination.

About TOKYO YNK MAP
In YNK, townspeople and merchants gathered during the Edo period (1603-1867) and formed various cultures such as food culture and art culture. This map is an illustrated digital map that presents the culture that has continued since the Edo period and the current state of YNK in an easy-to-understand manner from a pedestrian’s perspective.
The map includes art spots, spots where visitors can enjoy the history of Edo, communication spots and stores where visitors can interact with YNK people, etc. The information is available in English, Chinese (traditional and simplified), and Korean, as well as Japanese. By linking with location information services, users can see at a glance what information is recommended nearby. The data collected and analyzed from users of the map in a form that does not identify individual users will be used to enhance the contents of the map and to implement tourism policies.
