”Beeftro by la coccinelle”, casual and welcoming French restaurant

So much has happened in 2023!

I had some happy moments, but also some frustrating ones (such as fumbling with words in the second round on THE W). Ugh, I want to forget about my regrets and welcome the new year!! So I went to a year-end party.

“Beeftro by la Coccinelle” is located in the basement of Tokyo Square Garden in Kyobashi.

When I went there without making a reservation, the waiter　apologetically asked, “Would you like to sit on the terrace?”

I love to drink outside,the terrace seats are irresistible!!

I’d rather sit on the terrace!!

The stove is on and it’s warm, and the terrace seats are incredibly pleasant, allowing you to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the end of the year.

The casual and affordable French menu is not fixed but changes frequently depending on the season. What impressed me most was the starch sauce soft milt and the thick Sangen pork bacon.

I am a sucker for soft milt, but this was the first time I’d tried it with a thick sauce! This is amazing! The combination of the thick sauce and the soft milt is irresistible. I can’t help but complain, “Why is it a seasonal menu? I want to eat it every day.”

And bacon! As you can see from the picture, if you’re expecting the usual bacon you get for breakfast, you will find something completely different. This goes well with alcohol anyway…I drank too much wine and got pretty drunk.

The genovese at the end of the meal was also excellent. It was rich in flavor.And I went home with a full stomach. By the way, the pasta seems to change daily.

The food was so delicious that we drank quite a lot, and when I got home and looked through my photo folder, I found some photos that I didn’t remember taking. It seems to be getting carried away by Christmas.
