The charm of the Yaesu-Nihonbashi/Kyobashi area is that you can choose the restaurant that best suits your purpose and mood, as well as the delicious foods from Japan and abroad. In this relay series, GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this town, introduces their favorite menus.
“Omoki” is a restaurant where you can enjoy shabu-shabu and sukiyaki in a solo hot pot.
It’s close to Tokyo Station, so you can relax and enjoy your favorite hot pot without any worries.
The interior is a clean, inviting space that emphasizes a traditional Japanese atmosphere. With its soft lighting, it was so peaceful that I completely forgot the hustle and bustle of the station area—it was hard to believe I was near Tokyo Station.

The menu offers a selection of meats, including Matsusaka pork, Japanese Black beef, and Matsusaka beef, with a variety of options available depending on the portion size and combination of meats.
You can enjoy shabu-shabu and sukiyaki made with Matsusaka beef and Matsusaka pork, and choose your favorite flavor from three different broth options.
Since each person has their own hot pot, it’s great that you can choose your favorite flavor and enjoy it at your own pace, isn’t it?
This time, I enjoyed shabu-shabu made with Matsusaka pork and lean Kuroge Wagyu beef.

The meat and vegetables are arranged so beautifully that each dish lifts my spirits a little.
The meat was tender and full of flavor, and it paired perfectly with the vegetables and sauce, coming together in an elegant dish.
There are three types of dipping sauces: ponzu, sesame sauce, and special lemon sauce—you can enjoy each one.
You can also choose the portion size, so you can eat according to how hungry you are.

It’s great to be able to enjoy plenty of meat and vegetables (shimeji mushrooms and tofu) starting at lunchtime.

Above all, shabu-shabu just feels so special, doesn’t it!
Thanks for the meal!
