I’ve lived in this town since I was a child, and on the day of the Sannō Festival, as soon as I hear the festival music, I naturally think, “Here comes the mikoshi.” That’s how deeply rooted this festival is in the hearts of the townspeople.

This year (2026), “TOFROM YAESU”—the culmination of the Yaesu redevelopment project I’ve been involved in for many years as a neighborhood association officer—was completed, and I welcomed the Sanno Festival with a special sense of pride.
From now on, the Himono-cho mikoshi will be on display at TOFROM YAESU, where it can be viewed year-round, so please come to Yaesu to see it.
