Lobster Paella at GLASS DANCE Yaesu, Spanish Cuisine in Yaesu Alley

2025.04.22

The charm of the Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi area is that you can find delicious food from both Japan and abroad, and you can choose a restaurant according to your purpose and mood. GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this area, introduces their favorite dishes in this relay series.

I visited “GLASS DANCE,” a Spanish restaurant tucked away at the end of a narrow alley off Yaesu Naka-dori Avenue near Tokyo Station and Nihonbashi Station, which at first glance might be overlooked. Some of the members got lost on the way to the restaurant, and the word “hideout” was a perfect description of the place.

The course meal begins with an assortment of appetizers in a glass. This presentation will get you excited.

It was followed by a prosciutto platter, shirasu ajillo, and more. The variety of dishes is rich and enjoyable!

On the grill, beef ribeye and selected pork are grilled to a savory perfection, further stimulating the appetite.

And the main dish, “Lobster Paella”. I came here to enjoy this.

The moment it is brought to you, you will be cheered by the power of its appearance. The robust seasoning and exquisite flavor of the seafood made us want to eat it even when we were full. Even with a full stomach, it was a dish that made me think, “I want to eat this for sure!

The meal ended with a refreshing cold dessert. Throughout the entire course, the quality of the ingredients and careful workmanship made for a very satisfying experience.

As we left the restaurant and looked around, we were surprised to see famous restaurants and stylish French restaurants scattered throughout the area that we had not noticed when we came in. It was an evening that stirred up my excitement for where to go next.
