Scones from “Three Tears” that will satisfy my English-loving friends.

The charm of the Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi area is that you can find delicious food from both Japan and abroad, and you can choose a restaurant according to your purpose and mood. GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this area, introduces their favorite dishes in this relay series.

When I only go to the office two days a week, I don’t often choose Fridays, but on the rare occasion that I do come in on Friday, I go to Three Tiers to buy scones.

This store is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The business days seem to change from month to month, so please check the website before you go, but I always go there to buy when I come to work on Fridays.

The tea room suddenly appears in the office area, and even from the outside, time seems to move differently… I went to buy some to take to my English-loving friend, but there were only a few left after 3 p.m. I had to go back to the store to get some more! I would have had carrot cake if there had been any!

This time, there were two varieties: strawberry and walnut & cinnamon, which I don’t usually choose, so I’m glad I did.

When I buy a scone, I split it into two halves, warm it up, and serve it with clotted cream! It’s a good scone that has that savory flavor.

I’m glad my friends enjoyed it! I wonder when my next Friday workday will be…I’d love to have a real afternoon tea sometime!
