The “2025 Tokyo Square Garden Winter Illumination,” one of the largest illuminations in the Kyobashi area, will be held at Tokyo Square Garden, a large complex directly connected to Kyobashi Station, from November 6, 2025 (Thursday) to January 31, 2026 (Saturday), using approximately 170,000 LED bulbs.

This event is an environmentally sustainable event that is redesigned each year while reusing LED bulbs, decorations, and Christmas trees. The lights are also 100% powered by electricity derived from renewable energy sources.

One of the highlights of this year’s tree is the “Artist Collaboration Tree,” which has been produced since 2022, and this year’s tree, the fourth in the series, is titled “When Silence Becomes Light”. The tree will be decorated by photographer Mao Kokubu. The Christmas tree will be decorated with “photo acrylics,” photo ornaments printed on acrylic boards with photographs by Mr. Kokubu.

After the Christmas tree display, a handover of photo acrylic ornaments that were actually used will be held (advance registration required). Visitors can enjoy decorating them as they wish at home without generating waste.

On Thursday, November 6, the first day of the event, an illumination lighting ceremony will be held. A Christmas concert by a local junior chorus group and others is also scheduled to kick off the event.
