It has been 20 years since the release of *The Girl Who Leapt Through Time*. The largest exhibition to date tracing the creative journey of animation director Mamoru Hosoda, titled “*The Girl Who Leapt Through Time* 20th Anniversary: Mamoru Hosoda’s Origins,” is currently on view at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO in Kyobashi.

The exhibition features over 300 production materials—including storyboards, original artwork, and art boards—primarily from *The Girl Who Leapt Through Time*, *Summer Wars*, and *Wolf Children*.Highlights include an exhibition area where visitors can experience the virtual world “OZ” from *Summer Wars*, as well as life-size figures of “King Kazuma” and “Love Machine.”

Furthermore, the exhibition introduces his independent works created before *The Girl Who Leapt Through Time*, pieces from his student days, oil paintings from his college years, and even formative experiences from his hometown of Toyama, offering visitors a glimpse into the “origins” of director Mamoru Hosoda.
