“You too can be a doctor Exhibition “empowered by Hakase Chan” at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. A fun event for parents and children, useful for summer vacation homework

2025.07.22

The “You Can Be a Doctor, Too” exhibition, an intellectual experience event born from the popular TV Asahi program “Sandwich Man & Ashida Mana no Hakase-chan,” will be held at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu for 30 days from July 26 (Sat) to August 24 (Sun), 2025.

The “You Can Be a Doctor” exhibition offers a variety of contents that combine learning and play to stimulate children’s intellectual curiosity. While exploring each floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, from the first basement floor to the fifth floor terrace, visitors will enjoy learning about the mechanisms of the body, animal ecology, Japanese culture and history, and more.

body odyssey

In the “Explore Inside the Body” educational attraction, visitors actually enter a giant model of the human body and explore inside the body, visiting the heart, lungs, and other organs.

Graveyard of Extinct Animals

There is a “Graveyard of Extinct Animals” where you can take photos with extinct animals that appear in real size when you hold up your phone, a “Courtship Dance” where you can imitate the unique courtship behavior of creatures, and many other contents that stimulate children’s “Why? and “courtship dance” to imitate the unique courtship behavior of living creatures.

Each floor has a different question, such as “Why do insects have six legs?” Why did dinosaurs become extinct? and more than 150 different “Hatena Cards” are scattered throughout the museum. One of the features of the museum is the “Hakase-Chan Notebook,” in which visitors can freely record their findings and discoveries made through the Hatena cards and experiences.

Using stamps, stickers, and colored pens in the custom area on the 5th floor of the venue, you can complete your own original “Hakase-Chan Notebook” filled with your own learning. It will surely be useful for your summer homework.

During the event period, some restaurants in the building will also offer kids’ menus. Ordering a menu item will entitle the customer to a limited-quantity “Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Collaboration Hatena Card.
