2025.06.02

A workshop for children, “Chokipetas,” will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Tokyo Square Garden, a large complex directly connected to Kyobashi Station.

The concept of “Chokipetas” is “an arts and crafts room that does not aim to give shape to anything. As the name suggests, participating children cut (choki) and peel (peta) materials and add their own free ideas and inspiration (tas) to create their own unique and exciting shapes. The main feature of this program is that it does not aim for completion or correct answers, but rather emphasizes the importance of expanding infinite possibilities and fostering the ability to think freely by working with their hands.

The event has been held at Tokyo Square Garden since 2023, and this is the fifth time it has been held. The event has become so popular that it quickly reaches capacity each time. This year’s event will be held with HAKUTEN, which has an office in the same building, providing the end materials for the event.

Pre-registration is required to attend and will begin on Wednesday, June 4 at 12:00 p.m. There will be four sessions (11:00-11:45, 13:00-13:45, 14:00-14:45, 15:00-15:45), each with a capacity of approximately 24 participants (including parents). If you are interested, please register as soon as possible.
