A real escape game “Escape from Tokyo Station with Full of Mystery (outside the Yaesu ticket gates)” Supported by Tokyo Banana,” set in facilities around Tokyo Station, is currently being held until May 6, 2025 (Tuesday, national holiday).

The “Escape from Tokyo Station (outside the Yaesu ticket gates)” event is a collaboration between Tokyo Banana World, a Tokyo souvenir brand, and SCRAP, which plans and operates Real Escape Games.

Players purchase a special riddle-solving kit (3,100 yen per person), and visit the Tokyo Station Ichibangai, Yaechica (Yaesu Underground Mall), and Daimaru Tokyo Store, which are located outside the Yaesu ticket gates of Tokyo Station, to solve and clear the riddles.

Players choose from three courses: “The Game-like World,” “The Mysterious Forest,” or “The Collapsing World.” They solve the riddles by walking around the facility, looking at the question paper and scenery at hand, or using the kit. Even if you get stuck on a puzzle, there are hints to help you out.

The tour takes about 4 to 5 hours. The event is held indoors around the underground shopping center, so it is a great opportunity to play regardless of the season or weather. There is no time limit, and if you are unable to complete the tour in one day, you can continue the tour or experience a different course on another day during the event period. Visitors can enjoy themselves at their own pace, eating at stores of interest, buying souvenirs, etc. during the tour. Although there is no age limit, the recommended age for participation is junior high school students or older due to the difficulty of solving the riddles.

This event will be sold on the day at a total of five stores, including Tokyo Banana’s in Tokyo Station Ichibangai and J Market Yaechica in Yaechica.
