The charm of the Yaesu-Nihonbashi/Kyobashi area is that you can choose the restaurant that best suits your purpose and mood, as well as the delicious foods from Japan and abroad. In this relay series, GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this town, introduces their favorite menus.
Hello! I’m Nikaido, a female pin-up comedian in Yaesu Nihonbashi Kyobashi, in my third year at Yoshimoto Kogyo!
Nikaido loves to drink! Because drinking makes me feel happy!
The other day, I wandered around the basement of Yaesu to buy some sake as a souvenir for a girls’ night out at a friend’s house.
In the Yaesu underground shopping mall, there are many liquor stores. The famous ones are Liquors Hasegawa’s main store in Yaetika, Sake Donki, and many other liquor stores!
I was visiting various liquor stores and… I found it.
Why didn’t I know about this before!

Its name is “Nihonbashi Beer”!
This craft beer has been sold for 30 years and is made by a hoppy company.
This Nihonbashi beer is characterized by its yeast content.
It is a rare product that is sold only in the Japanese and Western sake department in the basement of the Daimaru Tokyo store and the main Mitsukoshi store in Nihonbashi.
The package design depicting the old Nihonbashi bridge is also cool!
Nikaido bought it as a souvenir for a girls’ night out!
When I went there, there happened to be a salesperson there and I even got to try a sample!
According to the sales staff, it has a “fruity and refreshing taste.

I see! Let’s drink it right away!
Mmm! Clear and very tasty!
This would be a great choice for someone who doesn’t normally drink much beer! Very easy to drink.
We drank it while having a sushi party, and it went down pretty fast.
I think it would go well with meat! And tacos! Oh, this would definitely go with tacos… Oh man, I want to have a taco party!

It is available right outside of Tokyo Station and is too good to be a Tokyo souvenir, as they do not sell it anywhere else.
This is a hidden masterpiece of souvenir discovery! Nikaido was very satisfied with this!
