The charm of the Yaesu-Nihonbashi/Kyobashi area is that you can choose the restaurant that best suits your purpose and mood, as well as the delicious foods from Japan and abroad. In this relay series, GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this town, introduces their favorite menus.
At the end of a busy day, don’t you ever find yourself thinking, “I’d love to have some delicious Italian food today!”?
“Ore no Italian,” located in the underground passage of Tokyo Station, is an easy spot to stop by before heading home and is perfect for treating yourself. It’s part of the “Ore no Series” of Italian restaurants, which operates multiple locations throughout Tokyo, and is situated in the Yaechika underground passage at Tokyo Station. It’s a popular spot; when I visited around 7:00 p.m. on a weekday, it was nearly full. While many guests were there in groups, there were also quite a few solo diners, and the atmosphere makes it easy to pop in casually on your way home from work.
Here are the three dishes I recommend.
・Sea urchin, snow crab, seasonal mousse, and consommé jelly (748 yen, tax included)
・Pasta with Blue Crab and Tomato Cream Sauce (1,298 yen, tax included)
・Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream (968 yen, tax included)
One of the best things about this place is that you can enjoy luxurious ingredients like sea urchin, snow crab, and blue crab at reasonable prices. Each dish is beautifully presented and authentically seasoned, offering a treat for both the eyes and the soul.

The sea urchin, snow crab, seasonal mousse, and consommé jelly create a luxurious dish where the rich umami of the sea and the delicate texture of the mousse blend together perfectly.

In this crab and tomato cream pasta dish, the rich tomato cream sauce is infused with the savory flavor of crab and clings perfectly to the chewy pasta.

The Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream features an exquisite combination of the rich sweetness of chocolate and the refreshing taste of vanilla ice cream, making it the perfect dessert to enjoy after a meal.
Actually, if you choose these three items, you’ll have a starter, a main course, and a dessert all set, so you can enjoy your very own full-course meal.

What’s more, if you register your birthday in the app, you’ll receive a gift certificate for sparkling wine as a birthday perk. I used that certificate the other day and enjoyed some sparkling wine alongside a delicious Italian meal.
The delicious food satisfied both my stomach and my soul, and it was an evening that gave me the energy to think, “I’ll do my best again starting tomorrow.”
