I heard sad news the other day.
The “Suica penguin” that has always been by my side… He will graduate in March 2027.
Sad. There is such a thing as graduation in public character. ….
So! Let’s do it to drown this sadness! Pen Katsudo (an activity to grieve the graduation of Suica’s penguins and cheer them on in the little time left)!
I went to CANNELE LITE, located in the Gransta Tokyo Silver Bell area in the basement of JR Tokyo Station. This store sells “Suica’s Penguin Cannulets” that are available only at this store.

Along with the Suica penguin canele, I also bought a canele called “Sangria Chocolat” that was next to the Suica penguin canele!
We started with the “Sangria Chocolat”. The heart-shaped dropper is filled with liqueur, which is dipped into the canele while eating.
Yikes!
The dried figs match the liqueur so well! I’m glad I grew up! I wonder if these would go well with alcohol too? That’s what Nikaido thought! But be careful if you can’t drink or are weak on alcohol. After all, it is a liqueur.

Dark chocolate over a canele with a Suica penguin in cocoa butter on top of it! Love too much! Especially love the mouth!
When you try it, you will be disappointed in a good way by the lovely appearance of this authentic canele. The rich and elegant sweetness of the couverture chocolate is a taste that you will not get tired of even if you eat it until the end. Moreover, as you can see from the photo above, the volume is generous and satisfying enough to eat. It is a perfect snack to fill your stomach in between work.
