Los Angeles–born “Randy’s Donuts” opens its third Japan location inside Tokyo Gift Palette.

2025.12.05

Randy’s Donuts Tokyo Gift Palette Store, the third store in Japan of the popular Los Angeles donut store Randy’s Donuts, will open on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Randy’s Donuts was established in Los Angeles in 1952. The huge doughnut-shaped sign sign towering above the roof of the first U.S. store has been featured in popular movies and music videos, and is known as one of the landmarks of Los Angeles.

The simple, never-ending flavor of the traditional recipe passed down since the company’s founding, as well as the visual enjoyment of a wide variety of toppings, are the reasons for the popularity of this dish.

In May of this year, Randy’s Doughnuts made its first appearance in Japan in Daikanyama, Tokyo, and became a hot topic of conversation, especially on social networking sites. The new “Randy’s Doughnuts Tokyo Gift Palette Store” will open as a take-out specialty store.

In addition, three types of donuts limited to Randy’s Donuts Tokyo Gift Palette Store will be available to commemorate the opening.
