“Tokyo Banyana Cookies” is a new craft cookie brand of “Tokyo Banana”, a popular Tokyo souvenir, and the first store opened in JR Tokyo Station on July 17, 2025.

The theme of Tokyo Banyana Cookies is a fusion of sweets and characters, and the first store will sell craft cookies and goods featuring the brand’s character “Banyana,” a group of plump cats who love to eat.

The six types of cookies, each with a crunchy texture, come in a variety of unique flavors. The “Banyana” cookies, inspired by each flavor, adorn the packaging.

Banana butter flavor

 

“Banana Butter Flavor” is made with fermented butter from Hokkaido and the delicious taste of bananas kneaded into it. The character’s name is “Banyana”.

 

Maple Latte Flavor

 

“Maple Latte Flavor” is made with Canadian maple sugar and gently sweetened condensed milk powder. The character’s name is “Latte”.

 

Tomato cheese flavor

 

Tomato Cheese Flavor” is a pizza-like dish with the aroma of tomatoes and cheese. The character’s name is “Napoli”.

Ume Butter Taste

 

Ume Butter Flavor” is made with ume plum, Hokkaido fermented butter, and shiso (Japanese shiso) as a secret ingredient. The character’s name is “Ume”.

 

Uji Matcha Adzuki Butter Flavor

 

“Uji Matcha Azuki Butter Flavor” is a combination of aromatic Uji green tea and Hokkaido azuki beans, both produced by Yanoen, which was established in Tempo 7. The character’s name is “Macha”.

Black Sesame Butter Flavor

 

“Black Sesame Butter Flavor” is kneaded with roasted black sesame seeds. The character’s name is “Sesame”.

You can choose from products that can be purchased for as little as 500 yen for a pack of three for one coin, or the “Neko-san Box” that includes three flavors, depending on the occasion and the number of people in your party. All products come with character stickers (patterns are random).

Banyana appears at the “Tokyo Banyana Cookies JR Tokyo Station Store” on a random basis, and if you are lucky, you can actually touch and feel Banyana.
