A snack that fills your heart when you eat it. Soybean flour and red bean paste specialty store “QINA&Co. Nihonbashi store”

2024.09.03

The charm of the Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi area is that you can find delicious food from both Japan and abroad, and you can choose a restaurant according to your purpose and mood. GOKINJYO, a community of women workers in this area, introduces their favorite dishes in this relay series.

Located behind Takashimaya is the “QINA&Co. Nihonbashi Store”. Keena and Co…huh?  How to read “Kinako”?  As the name suggests, this is a store specializing in soybean flour and red bean paste.

Only three people can enter the modest little shop at a time, and the pies and bean sweets are lined up neatly, cutely and cheerfully. I’m going to start munching away at them now, but I’m kind of sorry.

I purchased the following three items this time.

・Soft two-color bread made with rice flour

・THE BEAN

・Mini parfait of soybean flour and red bean paste

First, the chewy texture of the bread is also good. When I eat it, soybean flour is scattered all over the place and I laugh.

Secondly, these bean snacks are very helpful because they don’t make a crunchy sound when you bite into them.

The third parfait, I have to say, was the best.

These snacks are not just “guilt-free”; they make me feel like I’m replenishing something important. Ah. I could think of someone I’d like to give it to. I’ll come again.
