Today I visited Charcoal Grilled Hormone Guu.

It’s a cozy restaurant located in a back alley just off the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station.

The first thing I had was lightly pickled kimchi.

The sweet Chinese cabbage like fruits were crunchy and delicious!

The meat I’ve all been waiting for is beef tongue.

The large, thick slices of tongue build anticipation for the meat that follows.

All the meat is seasoned and can be enjoyed with green onions, if you like.

You can have as much green onion and shredded cabbage as you like.

It’s difficult to determine when the best time to eat hormones is.

It depends on the situation in the restaurant, but one of the great things about this restaurant is that the staff will grill the meat and tell me the best time to eat it.

There was absolutely no odor typical of hormones, and the more I chewed it the more delicious it became, and I was completely captivated.

In particular, the small intestine was delicious, juicy and superb.

In addition to the course, we also had yukhoe.

The salt flavor is recommended. It’s delicious as is, but it also comes with a side of egg, wasabi, and even lemon salt.

I enjoyed it with different flavors.
